About the work
One of the earliest works in the collection, Laws was built and rebuilt across four years. Its dark grid holds order against a field that keeps moving underneath — the rules we set and the ones the world sets back.
Small flashes of color break through the black lattice: not decoration, but the private evidence that something alive persists inside a structure.
